Are You Smoking Dirty Medical Marijuana?

Thank God for the internet! A random rumor here and there about cannabis being a potential cure for MRSA (methicillin resistant staphylococcus Aureus) was enough to get me to test it on a good friend, and I'm convinced it saved her life. This is our story.

Prop 109 is about hunting, fishing, and harvesting wildlife. Vote "yes" if you are for making hunting, fishing, and harvesting wildlife a constitutional right. The State Legislature will also be able to make laws regulating these activities. It will also establish hunting and fishing as a preferred means of managing and controlling wildlife. A vote "no" keeps current laws about hunting and fishing the same.

"Huh", I thought immediately. It was obvious, all the way down to the burger sauce slopped down the front of my t-shirt. However, his response caught me - an indication as to a part of what I'd learn a couple days later.

This is also a true statement; it is indeed against federal law to use marijuana for any purpose at all, including medical. At one point in time, it was against the law for a woman or person of color to vote, or for a person with a dark skin to drink from the same water fountain as a person with fair skin. Just because a law is in place, does not mean it is a just law.

Along with being the"hippest" first lady in history, Mrs. Ford felt free to talk about her political and social views with the nation. She admitted to engaging in premarital sex"as often as possible" with her future husband. Betty Ford appeared sympathetic to recreational marijuana use. Conservatives angered, but the people loved Betty Ford .

Here's where I enter the story. Sarah didn't have anybody to turn to if she had to be hospitallized. I was one of very few people she trusted to take care of her infant that is autistic. Obviously, I agreed, but I convinced her to try some topical cannabis cream that I'd made from marijuana leaf. I had read about the strong antibiotic activity of the pot I was smoking, so I used some alcohol to extract the active ingredients, blended it and voila medical marijuana .

THC prohibited by Federal law and remains a Schedule I drug! It's NOT (as he asserts ) a Schedule III drug. Take a look; once there, scroll down to find: Tetrahydrocannabinols Delta-8 THC, 7370 N THC, Delta-9 THC and others. Levels of medications are under that!

I explain the importance of appropriate patient/caregiver forms. Yes, you can get some of those form online but stop to consider for a minute. How comfortable would you be if the"authorities" visited your dispensary and asked to see your paperwork which lets you index distribute marijuana to your patients. These forms are important and you will need to make certain that you are complying with state law.
